In full: Well organised, good off road out into the countryside but flat enough for your average runner to feel comfortable. Nice scenery and marshalling was well drilled and clear. Friendly club made everyone welcome.

In short: Enjoyable race
In full: Flat but challenging as it was certainly off road. Nearly spraining my ankle on several occasions put paid to a PB but a great route in scenic countryside and a smart technical t shirt as a memento

In short: Good Event - very well organized and friendly.
In full: Low key event - can't believe there were so few runners. Brilliant organisation and the spread at the end was a sight to behold. Oh and the race was ok as well :)

In short: Excellent cross country race - so why the poor turn out ?
In full: Really emjoyed this race. Flat and quick but in places quite difficult underfoot. Very well marshalled all the way round and an excellent t-shirt. Special mention for the buffet in the bar at the end - mmmmmm choclate donuts!

I was a a little disappointed with the turnout. A race of this quality deserves a bigger field.

In short: Flat scenic off road little cracker
In full: On a pleasant morning this was a good little 10 miler. Having done a 10K the day before I was a little apprehensive but the course was as flat as promised and starting (and finishing) towards the back of a relatively small club race I did alright. Organisation was faultless with marshalls in all the right places. A good tech t-shirt and free buffet at the end completed an enjoyable event - well done and thanks Tickhill! (Agree with Gary though - on a wet day it would be very different underfoot but that's what's great about off road)

In short: Agreat morning out. Even get to watch the cricket at the end ;-)
In full: Flat and dry fields with a little bit of quiet, open country road. Sunny with a breeze made it near perfect. Had to give this PB potential as I think I got one :-) Looking at what we were running on I reckon this could be a much different race after a couple of days of rain?
Back next year? I reckon so.

In short: Excellent off road scenic 10 mile race
In full: This new event has made a very good start by being well organised, friendly and having good markers and marshalls. Pretty route through lots of different terrain making it a good challenge for those who enjoy one!! Not as easy as you think but a great run in the countryside. The homemade buns at the end certainly refuelled your aching legs. A tasteful mug was given to every finisher too. Highly recommended.

In short: All worthwhile for the buns at the finish line
In full: First year of its running but hopefully there will be many more to come. Bit of a mix up with some people crossing the wrong bridge to get to the start line and getting lost, but it was all sorted out in the end.

Lots of running on road/gravel paths however the crossing of fields at start and finish break up the pavement pounding.

Not the kind of race where there is lots of support all the way round...but that's to be expected on an off-roader. Well marshalled, so there wasn't much opportunity to get lost along the way and it even had mile markers all the way round.

Nice mug as a momento and lots of home made buns at the finish line, would definitely recommend this race.
