In short: A cheeky, challenging midweek 10K.
In full: More of a mud-runner than a road race this one but a good, tough race all the same with mostly club runner entries. For £4 entry you can't go wrong and you'll certainly know about it the next day! Well organised and marshalled with some local support along the way.

In short: Tough but brilliant
In full: Excellent - what evening racing should be all about. Well done organisers for running this superb event. Tough course, narrow in places - so make sure you start in an appropriate position. Hard running in mud and sand. Scenic course. Good support. £4 including two recovery shakes? I made money.

In short: A pretty tought 2 lap 10K over the bridle paths of Hagley
In full: The route of this 10K was quite tough, especially the sharp hill about half-way through each lap. And the sandy parts of the bridle path made my legs tired. A great training race though, which works your heart and legs well. A generous 'goody' bag of SIS 800ml mixing bottle, sample of PSP22 and Go Gel - well worth the £5 entrance fee. A decent atmosphere, and the faster runners cheered the slower runners over the finishing line. Well done Halesowen for organising a good mid-week race.
