In short: Which way is it?
In full: Like others here, I ended up lost in the woods climbing over fallen trees and up 70 degree slopes. A shame as it was the first time I'd ever been in a leading pack in a run. I ended up doing 6.5k, but apart from bad marshalling it was standard fun run stuff.

In short: Lost in the woods....
In full: ....and when complaned to a marshall, was told that everyone else managed it ok!
Disapointing as it was my local boroughs race. Lots of cheater people too, which ruined the whole atmosphere.

In short: I ended up doing 7K thanks to the lack of marshalls and way markers! I also suspect that a good few runners did 4K thanks to the lack of marshalls!

In short: More marshalls in the forest needed - I did nearly 7K!

In short: Good day for all abilities
In full: Excellent. A good day was had by all. There were fast runners who completed the course in 15-18 minutes and slower people who finished in 45 mins. Also one or two who walked most a jogged only a little. Yet still everyone had a good time. Route was v. nice. Through Ladywell fields, had a small river flowing through with small wooden bridges. Enough water & (cakes!) for everyone, with a fun day attached. So good for the whole family!
