In short: Really lovely race- a few minor issues
In full: Great race and friendly people. parking in a field with 3 ft high grass waas a bit painful as was the lack of clean finish with kids everywhere.

Else really friendly and well marshalled. Will be back

In short: Hot and hilly-what a challenge!
In full: Thank you Kintbury for a great event, well organised and friendly. The 1st mile and half is basically up and more up but the downhill bits were glorious, through some impressive countryside. The heat made this race even more of a challenge but the pint of ice cold coke in the local pub after made up for that!

In short: Beautiful scenery; not enough marshals!
In full: This was a lovely race, with enough hills for a challenge, but not so awful it was unattainable.

There were a couple of places to get lost, and some long(ish) stretches with no marshals, which wasn't great when a runner got into difficulties about a mile in. Likewise, there was nothing keeping non-runners away from the finishing straight at the football club and I nearly knocked down a toddler who strayed across the path!

This is only a minor complaint though, as the race was friendly and well organised overall.

I'd like to do it again, but in the winter!!

In short: 1st time, and definetely not the last time. Great race
In full: Agree, the first hill is a kitten - cute & cuddly with soft little claws that you hardly notice. A very pleasent run along mostly car free roads before turning down a track and down past a Tudor mansion in a park and back to the start. Very good and freindly marshalling, excellent organising. The whole thing had that easy, relaxed village fete atmosphere. Felt the most relaxed I've ever been at a start line and did a PB without ever feeling like I was pushing it. Would highly reccomend this.

In short: Lovely route, plenty to see.
In full: First Multi Terrain run I had done. Was a little concerned about previous reviews about the hilly first one and a half miles, but please dont be put off by this, it really is not that bad. Most of the route is road/track. Lovely bit through woods. Well done to all the organisers/marshalls.

In short: Great little race through some charming countryside
In full: Watch out fo the tough first 1 1/2 miles - there is a long climb out of the village. Bar a short climb with 1/2 a mile to go, that's your uphill done for the race, but it does take it out of you. Don't expect a PB. Otherwise, this race is nice and cheap, well organised, and although club-dominated, there was a good mix of abilities. I'll be back next year with a bit more hill training under my belt
