In short: Fantastic support from the locals!
In full: This was my 3rd running of this race and this one had the best local support so far. Nearly all of the course was lined with people cheering and clapping which gives you just the boost you need on the second lap.

Some people have said the weather was a bit too hot but I disagree with that, the conditions seemed just right and a lot of the run is in the shade anyway.

There are a couple of negative points:

1) No goody bag! A bottle of water and a sand coloured t-shirt is stingier than normal - I'd have loved at least a chocolate bar or something to munch on.

2) My results have not been recorded. I wore my chip, started and finished in the normal places and crossed the mats, handed it in at the end, but my results are not there. I'm sure it's probably just a technical blip, but it's a bit annoying.

Despite the niggles I'll definitely be back next year. So far I've knocked 4 minutes off each previous attempt and hope to do the same again.

In short: Good race, nice people.
In full: Not a huge fan of two lap courses but this is inoffensive enough, as said there was plenty of support out all around the course. Good mix of runners, good clubbers, first timers and underachievers like me! Did it last year, did it this, will probably do it next.

In short: Just a tad too hot for me
In full: Not a good idea running with a full blown snotty cold, made breathing very difficult! Nice friendly race though, plenty of free parking nearby. Odd colour t-shirt!
