In short: Scorchio!
In full: A sweltering midday race. Nice atmosphere. Fete was good too. It seemed like much of the race was on long gentle incline. The course has PB potential.

In short: One of my favourites but soooooo hot again!
In full: This is a really nice 10k race. Great countryside, very friendly, runners of all abilities, jaffa cakes at the end and fairly flat. I know I could have got a PB here but once again it was very very hot. There is little shade around the course, I think maybe 1/2km under trees, which left me with a disappointing time. Maybe one year the weather will be kind to the runners. If cooler this 10k would be almost perfect.

In short: Scorching Again!
In full: This is a really nice run with PB potential but the race keeps getting blessed with glorious sunshine - one year it has to rain! The fete that the race is part of is great to take the family along to and makes a good day out.

In short: Lovely race but please start earlier!
In full: My friends and I had a great time at this race, and the fete was good fun afterwards. Lovely sunny day but that just leads me into the only 2 negtives - another water station at half way and an earlier start 10am say would have been good please. Apart from that its all good and I really enjoyed it thanks.

In short: Lovely course
In full: Certainly PB potential if it wasn't a million degrees on the day! Nice chatty field and very beginner friendly. Marshalling was very good around the course, and was very well run all in all. Only slight gripe was I was sure the race map I saw had the race starting/finishing on the green, but the finish was on the road and I wasn't sure where I was supposed to be going... Should've really seen the big FINISH sign I know...

In short: a bit too hot on the day but a nice atmosphere at the fete
In full: Due to the sun I think an extra water station or two would be a good idea. Or start the race much earlier- it was too sunny and hot to run at 1pm on a course with no shade. Otherwise a very pleasant day out :)

In short: too hot for me!
In full: Everything seemed good apart from the weather. It was just too hot running at that time of day. I think 10am would have been too late to start. If I do it again I'll just enter on the day - I've learnt a lesson.

In short: A lovely route to run - the fete was great for my children and husband, the former who loved some of the rides. Lovely weather if a bit hot. Perhaps the race could be a bit earlier in the day, as it was really quite hot in the afternoon.
