In short: Fast lapped Course
In full: An enjoyable midweek race, great local support even if 40% were drunks & paramedics treating them. Seriously a great race very well organised taking you thought the closed roads of Doncaster town centre that were very well marshalled. if I had to be picky I would say parking needs to be sign posted better.

In short: Nice Town Centre run
In full: First time I've done this or a 5k having only done a few longer races before. Probably more suited to club runners as there is a fun run and vets race that precedes the open race. Still managed not to feel too out of my depth. 3 laps up Hallgate is a "treat" but the rest is quite quick. Well supported and marshalled. Nice tech t-shirt and bottle of Aldi water at the end.

In short: Another great race by Doncaster AC
In full: Great weather, local people out in force to support, organisation perfect, and closed roads to race on.
Great tech t-shirt to finishers, and for the price of the entry - a bargain !!.
If like me you do one 5k a year - do this one.

In short: well done Doncaster on a great well marshalled race.
In full: was it just wishful thinking, but my and another athletes garmins showed the race distance as 3.27!!
thoroughly enjoyable race, giving excellent value for money. good crowd support on the short uphill section.
bottled water and a good t shirt thrown in for the entry fee.
see you in 2012.

In short: Great race
In full: Done this race many times since 1994, great atmosphere, well marshalled and well organised. Worth the 100 mile round trip with 12 fellow club members.
I am a course measurer and my only niggle is the start/finish keeps moving, yet it was last officially measured in 2008, and course has altered 3 times since then? I will be back next year.

In short: Fast race, well marshalled, mainly flat
In full: A well - organised race through the very centre of Doncaster's shopping district, primarily flat (about 12m of climbing on each of the three laps), well signed and marshalled, though with some sharp-ish turns, so if you're a faster runner, you probably want to get off at the front.
My only gripe would be that there are no km markers, but on a multiple - lap course this might I suppose be confusing?
Bottle of water and a t-shirt at the end for all finishers.

In short: first ever 5k
In full: My 2nd race in 3days but very enjoyable. good support, good t-shirt and a definate PB race. coming from sheffield incline was practically flat. wasnt sure of each catagory starting at differant times but races went very well because of this.
