In short: Well run and flat as a pancake
In full: I traveled a fair distance to do this race based on previous reports and I wasn't disappointed. Easy collection of race number and plenty of tannoys to keep you updated as to time to move to starting area. Switched on marshalls and quiet country lanes which are flat. To those who wanted a drink and a banana.... It's not really why you turn up and race is it?

In short: Not exactly the best value event i've been to.
In full: Just returned from the Magor Marsh 10k. Didn't find the course particularly special and cambered lanes were a real pain to negotiate unless you ran in the middle of the road. I was more disatisfied with the lack of some sort of memento at the end, not so much for myself (as i've aquired plenty of bling over the years, just a simple bottle of water and a banana would of done) but for the many others, particularly newbies to the sport who enjoy picking up a tee-shirt or medal at the end of a race. All that was on offer was a cup of water, and a burger / buttie if you're into eating that sort of junk. For £14 i'd expect a little bit more to be honest.

In short: Flat fast course, great if you're looking for a PB
In full: This is a great fast route along country lanes with very little traffic. It was well organised with plenty of marshals and cheap to enter. Only real gripe is that the start was very cramped and the finish was not well signed. Could have done with a sign pointing out 300m to go. Other than that another water stop would have been nice but that was down to the hot weather.

In short: Excellent friendly race, perfect for beginner!
In full: Friendly people, unassuming place, big smiles from all the marshalls and an almost completely flat course (a teeny tiny little hill right at the end, leading up to the football club). This was only my second ever race and I felt very welcome, really enjoyed it.

In short: hot
In full: Thank you Chepstow Harriers lovely race, good mix of standards and marshalls very friendly and encouraging. Very well organised. Just could have done with another water station as it was very hot out there, but then should have brought my own! Thank you chepstow Harriers

In short: Nice and flat with a good atmosphere!
In full: This was a lovely race, very well organised and plenty of marshalls along the route with great words of encouragement to help you along.
I got my PB here today so that was great!
My only criticism would be that there was no race momento, a little medal or trophy would have been nice.
I'll definitely be back at this race again though.
Big thanks to the orgainsers and marshalls and everyone who helped out on the day :-)

In short: Popular flat race
In full: Well organised, no fills race with a good mixture of club, charity and first-time runners. A number of runners who just turned up on the off-chance seem to have been turned away as the race reached its limit. The start was pretty cramped, too, but only for the first 50 metres of so and then the race opens out into wider country lanes with very little traffic. Was looking around for something sugary at the end, though, but there only seemed to be burgers and bacon butties.
