In short: Another Great Starting Race
In full: Ran this race three times now. Takes place in the summer, uphill for the first half then you turn around and run down again. Beware of runners going in the opposite direction after crossing the M4, and don't go down the hill too fast as you may not be able to make the turn at the bottom. Also the little hill after the final bridge can slow you down for the final stretch. All in all a well organised race

In short: Great race, even the weather couldn't stop the fun!!
In full: Nice local race, mainly flat so potential for quick times but with a few little hills just to keep it interesting. Terrain: tarmac and tracks. Good organisation as always with grassrootsevents. would reccommend.

In short: Good first 5k
In full: I felt a bit daunted turning up at my first 5k, particularly not being a club runner, but there was a good crowd at the end to cheer me on!!! Really well organised, good atmosphere, good venue, not sure whether it was my effort that increased my heart rate or the spiral bridge (twice) when I hate heights and road bridges?!! Good race for first timers and definitely recommended

In short: Hope this becomes a regular event
In full: I hope this race becomes a regular event and not just a one-off as it has a lot going for it.

Start was a bit congested, but with 200-odd runners of mixed ability (which was something I like), what more can you really expect?

Well organised, and had a very friendly feel to it with the presentation and a chance to socialise in the pub afterwards.

Well done to Steve & Julie Goulding for coming up with another top quality event.
