In short: Second time round was better than the first...
In full: A well organised friendly event with a nice mix of walkers and runners. Marshall's were helpful and the check point snacks were excellent.
Makes a nice change to road running and a good step up from marathon distances.
Will be back next year!

In short: A fantastically organised scenic race around an amazing loop of Coventry. I got slightly lost a couple of times but that's only because I don't know my left from my right! Frequent water stops and checkpoints break the race up nicely. A must do race

In short: My first Ultra and possibly one of the best
In full: Entry fee, £12 - bargain. Food on offer at checkpoints was unbelievable. Marshals were fantastic, very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. If you've not done this one, get signed up next year, you won't regret it. I'll definitely be back.

In short: Faultless!!
In full: Hard to fault this event. Everything from the staggered starts to the organisers, and good humour. The road book was exceptional and very easy to follow. I also used the gpx file that they made available and it worked a treat alongside the road book and as a result hardly got lost once. The weather was a bit on the hot side for a 40 miler but would've been so much worse if it had been raining all the way round, even caught a tan. For the entry fee you won't find a better organised event and the water stops were some of the most frequent and well stocked I've ever come across. A really nice addition was the extra two water stops (with snacks too) that were laid on cause of the hot weather, very nice touch. Oh and also the vary nice meal at the end too. A big thanks goes out to Peter Page who put together the gpx files for GPS route. I for one will be back next year.

In short: Didn't know Coventry area was so nice and i live there. Excellent organisation too.
In full: Loved the well thought out route, start when your ready start, home made quality snack at the check points, friendly field of runners and walkers and the marshal's sense of humor.
A great day out.

In short: Excellent, would be a great first ultra
In full: Great value and organisation, guidance notes generally very good but in a few tricky places could be improved: The Golf Course, also the bit before the Old Black Bank (steps 4 and 5 on map 14, there are several small paths off to the left up various banks), also map 16, step 10, there is no way it is 100m to the gate, more like 500m. I'm not complaining though! Congratulations to the organisers.
