In short: Great pre christmas run lots of support. In full: Loved this run armosphere very Christmas with supporters in santa hats but what with the grim reaper marshal directing us into the wood on the last decent. very scary. A great run in fantastic weather but we had to leave and missed the results and presentation. Sorry! Date of review: December 22, 2008

In short: Varied course with good marshalling and mince pies In full: Well run race with excellent facilities and good marshals. The only downside for me was the presentation. It was well done but took a little while to organise so quite a few people had left. Great race though and will be back next year. Date of review: December 21, 2008

In short: Excellent pre-turkey workout In full: 85% off-road and 15% road. A tough course with some reasonably challenging undulations and terrain (nothing like the Oxford Mail XC league though!). It's worth booting it for the first mile so you don't get held up in a queue for the stile (I didn't boot it quite fast enough!) and definitely wear trail shoes if you have them. Very well organised by Hook Norton Harriers, and nice to have the new clubhouse facility at the end. Only minor quarm was the time taken to get the results/prizes out as lots of people had left.
