In short: Great run to test yourself, or enjoy a scenic trot
In full: Once again, great run. Organised well, everything on time. Nice atmosphere and helpful/encouraging marshalls. Nice goody bag, will of course be back

In short: scenic...
In full: ..... means lumpy / hilly.
scenery stunning, event well organised, though shame there were so many other events on the same day reducing the numbers.
would make a great XC course in the winter.
Deers munching the fields, fish swimming in the lakes, much better than a loop of a ring road anyday.

In short: My first Race.......and ooh ek it hurt!
In full: This was my 1st competitive race (recently completed a half marathon with mother at half speed :-)....). I was there by myself and surrounded by lots of t-shirts (i.e. clubs) which was a little intimidating for a first timer!
Although the typical English weather put a bit of a downer to the surrounding countryside, I still managed to take in the beauty of it and the clear fresh air.
That tarmac hill was a killer! I truely thought I was going to walk it....pushed through though and came in at 49mins.
Good goodie bag - a medal would have been nice.
Well organised and some friendly smiles at the end. Would do again.

In short: A tough race witha goody bag that makes it worth it!
In full: While there are no really big hills in this race it would still describe it as hilly as there are so many short off road hills that your legs know about it! Add to that 2 long slow climbs up a tarmac drive that sap any strength that you have make this race tough but fun. It's set in beautiful surroundings in a country park so no traffic to worry about.

The goody bag is excellent and the cake stand at the finish looked very tempting. It was only a very small field (122) yet I never felt lonely and there was a good atmospehere. Definately worth doing.
