In short: A great race, good fun with a great atmosphere In full: My first duathlon but not my last, a great race and a well organised event. The only let down was the quality of the long sleeved T-Shirt. Date of review: December 30, 2011

In short: Great Fun In full: As with the Original Grim the Duathlon takes place on the Army vehicle testing ground in Aldershot. Good enjoyable course with the bike route having various challenges from pedalling in sand to wading through water.
Not particularly technical but you need to keep your wits about you.
Enjoyable well organised day, for those who care - a fantastic goody bag but disappointing T-shirt compared to The Grim one. As far as I'm concerned thouigh this race is very good value for money. Date of review: October 25, 2011

In short: good varied course - expected it to be harder In full: Run laps were easier than expected, having run the Grim Challenge before. Varied terrain with soft sandy spots to slow you down on the bike and water to wade through carrying the bike. This was my first duathlon and very enjoyable. Date of review: October 29, 2010

In short: Excellent race In full: really enjoyed this race, it is on the army vehicle training course so it is muddy, wet and challenging in places. Starting with the 5km run, trying to keep your shoes dry turns into quite a hard slog on the bike for 2 x 10km loops with an evil, cold and long water course that you have to wade through. Then back on the run for the last 5km. Really enjoyed the day, excellently organised Date of review: October 26, 2010
