In short: Good for Brum - needs refinement ny great potential
In full: Baggage handling was a bit mad, based on numbers meant that first finishers all trying to get luggage from same cart - chaos. Take the tops off the bottles first. Grat medal, so-so T shirt, good atmosphere at finish. Do it again, but better next year.

In short: See you next year
In full: The only problems I encountered were getting to the stadium (the traffic was a nightmare)and the poor organisation at the start. The race itself was very enjoyable. What hills?
The shuttle bus at the end was great, finished the race, got t-shirt and drink and jumped staraight on the bus back. Brilliant. Excellent medal and goody bag too.

In short: Not just for brummies!
In full: Almost 9,000 runners, goes through Brum city centre, past the floozie in the jacuzzi in Victoria Square, and is a nice challenging-but-easy course too. Nice atmosphere, would be good to see the event grow into something really good. Inaugural race had a completely awesome medal, too.

In short: A good first running, with room for improvement
In full: The start was disorganised. The baggage transport was very good. Marshals and water stations were excellent. Finish extremely well organised. Didn't like the twisty bit through Edgbaston, although I didn't mind the hills. As many others have said, the crowds were fantastic, especially on Broad Street. I'll be back next year.

In short: Well done Birmingham - a good first half
In full: It was a pb, but as I train in Edgbaston, knew what to expect. Great to have a half in Birmingham. More segregation at the start needed - take tips from GNR etc.

In short: Loved it! Great experience running on the roads and fly overs!
In full: I live in Birmingham now and was very excited to run the route. I wasn't dissapointed as I thought it was really good, route an all! I didn't really think that it was that hilly to be honest. Agree that the run in to Broad Street was magnificent! I enjoyed the 'sight-seeing' around the city thinking I'd only previously driven on the route and never ran it. All good I reckon. Thanks to all involved.
