In short: A great series
In full: Again, I'm biased due to this being my clubs race! A superb series of runs hosted by Centurions around Babbs Mill lake. Great atmosphere as always, a very generous selection of prizes and a very fast course. Everyone is very welcome, and a great memento is awarded to all finishers who have completed 4+ races. I look forward to the next series!

In short: Friendly and fun
In full: 3 laps of a park on mainly trail paths. Well organised, excellent support and very encouraging marshalls. I only wish I'd learnt about this series earlier and so could have got the required 4 races in to achieve a memento (!) - and to monitor my times over the same course.
Very nice atmosphere - thanks to all concerned.

In short: Expensive, no medal, lack of timing equipment, no mileage posts
In full: £8 entrance fee, no medal, no timing of any type and no mileage markers. To add insult to injury the tea, post race was 60 pence.

In short: Well marshalled, friendly race, but VERY wet and muddy!
In full: This is a review from the very back of the field! Slightly depressing to be lapped by 5 front-runners this month (only 4 last time), but an otherwise enjoyable run. A lovely cammeraderie between those of us who knew we would be at the back and were likel to be lapped

In full: The weather made this race seem worse than it was but with waterlogged paths and strong winds with the odd downpour thrown in my misery turned to disbelief that insufficient water had been allowed for at the end. Thank goodness it wasn't a warm day. Providing water at the end is surely a basic minimum requirement. Surely you need one drinks station even at the start of a lap would do?!

In short: A fast, friendly race with a generous prize-list :o)
In full: I confess that I'm biased - this is my club's race. It's a flat course, mostly on tarmac and good paths, with just a small section of rough trail on each lap. The organisation is smooth, results are posted promptly, and there are hot drinks in the school hall afterwards. There's also a generous prize-list, with a different vet and junior category singled out for extra prizes each month, and lots of spot prizes. Definitely worth the trip!

In full: Well i did not get the finishing time i wanted but that was due to lack of training . But the organisation and running of this event is first class and if you live in the area i believe you would love the run .
