In short: Great race, great weather!!
In full: Brilliant atmosphere, helped along by the brilliant weather, everything was well organised from registration to finish.

The route was challenging in places (esp the hill just before the finish!) The goody bag was good value with a nice medal, t-shirt, isotonic drink and candy :-))

My only little issue was that the final straight bit with about .5 mile to go was blocked up with non runners enjoying the park, they didnt appreciate we were trying to finish the race and I did come across two men who didn't like me trying to get round them, the dogs and the cyclist and stay on the path. Maybe some way of roping off a runner lane next year?? Wouldn't stop me doing the race again though

Good communication from Shane pre and post race. Great action photos from Lynn.

In short: Flat and fast
In full: Good fast course although a bit uneven in places. I did hear that some people went off course although I don't see how with plenty of marshalls.

In short: Perfect little race.
In full: This was one of my first ever races, 2 years ago, & I've done it 3 times now.
Incredibly cheap, nice medal, fast, flat course, & nice little run round a park.
The perfect first timers race, but still competitive at the front.
Can't fault this one in any way.
A classic Lord Shoestring race.

In short: My local park, couldnt be better!
In full: I usually go running in this park. Actually this race was the reverse of my normal route so I enjoyed it all the more. I even got a medal which is always a bonus! Oh and that gate is never open at weekends!

In short: Fab race. Friendly & quick.
In full: This was my second year doing this one. It really is a fun little race. Perfect as a first race too. Great value. Just £3, & butties & a drink afterwards too. And a great medal.

Not too much water on the course after all, after weeks of rain.

Great organisers & a nice atmosphere.
Couldn't fault it.

In short: Not a bad way to spend a Sunday morning.
In full: Great event for all types of runners. A nice community feel to it with great support.

Some improvements would make it great though: marshalls could be more visible in hi-vis jackets; the gate at 200m or so needs to open as this could cause accident depending on how my bunching there is at the start.

Overall a great event, great route (all park and no traffic), and great support from organisers, volunteers, spectators and other competitors.
