In short: Scenic, above the fal river; multiterrain but none of the severe stuff.
In full: I ran winter2008,spring2009,summer2009. I am local. Scenery overlooking the Fal estuary and running along trail beside the river. (The winter 2009 race omits the hill that a lot of people walked up). A mix of abilities- not many of the local 'fast' runners on the Cornish grand prix circuit.

In short: A tough, fun challenge.
In full: Attended with two keen beginners; I'd been helping them with their training for a number of months. It was their first competitive outing and my first foray off road.

Trelissick turned out to be a baptism of mud, long grass and steeeeeep hills.

Friendly organisers, excellent scenery and good cameraderie makes this event well worth attending.
