In short: a good swim into a strong current felt very cold, legs were heavy in the rain all out cold day, no PB this year
In full: a good river wide mass start lots of elbows and feet, good practice for mass starting. the water was running fast so outward swim was challenging with an easyer return. the combination of the cold swim and the rain made the bike extra hard even on the rolling smooth roads, and the run is a welcome break as you run along the old by way and cycle path, which was out and back so you could see who you wanted to catch up enjoyable day, apart from the cold weather.

In short: Well Organised event with nice bike and run routes.
In full: Nice flat bike and run sections on the course make for a good time but the river swim was cold and into a very strong current for 1st half made it very tough not helped by the weather
