In short: A few changes and it would be a good race
In full: The course lacked km markers and the three laps are of uneven length. This made pacing very difficult.
The start is right in front of a narrow gate. Dangerous?!

In short: Friendly, off-road 10K
In full: The three lap course is slightly repetitive, but as it's all (nearly) flat and within a country-park it's worth it. Lots for supporters to do with good parking, adventure playground, cafe etc. Water bottle and Mars bar were welcome too.

In short: Mostly Marvellous!
In full: Easy to find (nr end of M62); easy parking; great playground for kids; lovely 3-lap course within park; very flat, so good PB potential; well marshalled; good for spectators.
2 slight probs:
start was narrow/congested
the distance markers - no km markers, and the Mile ones were just plain wrong - if they could sort this out, this race would be PERFECT! :o)

In short: Three-lap course of Croxteth Park, good standard and reasonable race
In full: The markers were just wrong which didn't help with pace-making. There wasn't one at 4 miles and some of my miles were allegedly 5mins and the last one 14 mins...meither of these are right.

The rae apart from that was good though and I enjoyed it. Shame they couldn't elongate the course to make it two laps instead of three.

In short: Likeable race in pretty surroundings.
In full: Just done this charming race and it was a bit more taxing than I expected. Somewhat twisty and muddy, a PB may not be in the bag. I was also confused about he mile markers but otherwise the organisation was good, with nice marshals and encouragement.

Goody bag had a drink, medal (very surprising!) and a Mars Bar. Good value!

Thanks to all involved with the race and see you next year.

In short: Great course - for both running and looking at
In full: I really enjoyed this race - great fast course in a lovely park which seemed quite fast and well organised. Just wish I didn't miss the start by five or ten minutes can could have done it properly - will have to look out for road signs better next year.
