In short: My first 10K and really enjoyed it.
In full: I've only done Reading half before this and obviously that is a far bigger event, but I really enjoyed this and enjoyed the course. Will definitely be back.

Well marshalled and efficiently run.

In short: A nice run with fantastic scenery hidden in the depths of West Drayton
In full: A very well organised run set in a nice location, although very warm there were plenty of shady areas on the course. This event deserves more entrants and I will do my best to be back next year !

In short: Very friendly, well-organised
In full: Sign-posted well, plentiful parking, friendly pre-race chat and encouraging finishing straight comments over the tannoy. Good refreshment areas. The water stations would have been better at 3k, 6-7k and the finish as it was quite hot, dry and dusty along the golf course trails. Great marshals with encouraging support all along the route. Missed 50 mins by 10s, so will have to return next year! Thanks.

In short: Lovely race nice intresting run
In full: Well organised friendly race with great marshalling. Nice varied run with trails and nice scenery. Would have like it to start a bit early it would have been cooler and also have had more of the bank holiday free afterwards. Would recommend this race and can not understand why more people do not run it. Thanks you Purple Patch.

In short: A really good venue for a race. Good organisation and a broad field of runners with lots of family support.
In full: A well organised race which was quite challenging as it was hot for April and the trails around the golf course had some unexpected sharp hills which slowed down any chamce of a PB !Good venue to start and finish at the business park with good organisation from Claire and Chruis who also went to great effort to identify as many runners as possible as they ran the home stretch which encouraged repeated races for the line which entertained a family based crowd. I shall know what to expect next year, well done Purple Patch !

In short: Great organization, lovely course, will do it again.
In full: It has to be the prettiest industrial park in Europe. It's also the biggest! The race starts here but quickly heads to a golf course and skirts it for 8K. Occasional inclines, with one challenging hill, make this a run to be respected. The organization was superb-one of the best small runs in the South. No chip timing but an electronic timer at the end. Also a superb commentator who had the energy and grace to name check as many people as he could- great job! Great race- perfect for Easter Monday. Bravo Purple Patch!
