In short: Great staff but nothing special
In full: I have done this 10k a couple of time now.It is a worthy cause and I am more than happy to let my entry fee go to Diabetes collections.So!...The staff and marshals were brilliant and sooo friendly..BIG Well done to all concerned for that. The course is nice and scenic(more than its fair share of dogs though and not all on leads)Couldn't detect a clubby/clique feel about the event (always good)..Plenty of free water supplied (also always good to see) More entrants would have definitely bumped up the lack lustre wet evening atmosphere I suppose. And a tshirt that didn't have a giant advert for taxis on its back would be put to better use than that given in the goody bag.An online certificate with your time and name pre-printed would also be better than the cheap paper thing supplied for you to fill in yourself. The fact is-there are LOADS of 10k races out there for runners to choose from now.Running is more popular than ever and like it or not they will have to compete to get our hard earned entry fees.I have to say that getting the results has been the slowest I have encountered.I wish it well though and with a few tweaks here and there this could be one to consider again.

In short: PB course flat all the way!
In full: This is a nice course to run around and the 'laps' means you know roughly how far you have left at the crucial last stint! Organisers very pleasent excellent for PB as totally flat on firm ground, not that many runners would be better if there was more to create more of an atmosphere despite that it gets thumbs up from me, a great one to do for first timers

In short: Great little race- Highly recommended
In full: Great little fast, flat course for PB chasers and for runners of all levels through some lovely woodland. A nice start and finish at the historic Croxteth Hall.

Friendly atmosphere, excellent marshalling, the marshals were very encouraging. Goody bag, medal, certificate all for £8, a bargain and all for charity. Great organisation and they even managed to provide a race clock for the run in.

Well done to all involved, see you next year.

In short: Easy flat run, nice scenery, traffic free, free ample parking, well marshalled, great atmosphere.
In full: Very peaceful environment (running past a riding school and meadows with cows in), especially since there weren't that many runners - no queues to toilets and no problems parking. Great for spectators.

Some people complained that they find laps repetitive - personally I like doing laps because I have a clearer idea how much I've got left.

In short: A good flat course, passionate organisation on a small budget it seems. I'll be back next year because it's a PB chasers dream.
