In short: Loved it, loved it, loved it!
In full: I ran the Cani-X 4Paws 5K event with my dog, Charlie, and it was fantastic. I regularly run with the dog but this was our first race together. Nice staggered start and it was great chatting to the other runners, many of whom were also doing their first race. The dogs got on very well. Fairly flat course and a nice long flat run in. Can recommend the specialist Cani-X harnesses. Goody bag was full of doggy treats so a big thumbs up from Charlie as well.

In short: Excellent organisation, great atmosphere & glorious weather!
In full: A great race, thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be signing up for next year. The atmosphere was brilliant, with both club and beginner runners welcomed equally. Brilliant value for money as well, and the organisation was superb - well done!

In short: Loved It!
In full: I did this race back in 2009 which was the first year it was staged and it was great to see how it has grown. More runners, marshalls, stalls, prizes etc. Good to see the worthwhile charities being supported having a presence and helping out with stalls etc as well.

There was a fantastic atmosphere and it was nice to do a run on a Saturday for a change. Note to race organisers: Not everyone wants/is able to do races on a Sun!

Well done to all involved :-).

In short: Very well organised race and great setting
In full: Fantastic morning run around South Notts. Friendly participants and great atmosphere and the number of marshalls was fantastic especially as the route is not completely intuitive.
Good surfaces to run on and two water stations.
The heat was sapping and the surprise hill meant had to dig deep.

In short: A fantastic race in every way
In full: A lovely course around the park, undulating, one short sharp hill, plenty of marshalls, good toilets and showers, easy to find, plenty of car parking space, warm day, choice of home baked cakes after you finish, 2 drinks stations which was good as it was very warm, and all this at a price which is sensible for a change.
Multi terrain surface meant trail shoes better than road shoes preferable. The crowd were supportive, the marshalls encouraging, so all in all an excellent race. Very well organised and would definitley do it again.

In short: Steep hill is a bit of a killer but overall a nice race
In full: Glorious day, home made cakes at finish & a PB.
Not quite 2 laps of a relatively immature park, one killer hill between 6 & 7km that takes your breath for a while.
