In short: A challenging 10 mile race in beautiful Warwickshire countryside
In full: I really enjoyed this race and the ups and downs that came with it. The downside was the long circling laps around one of the fields at the 2-3 mile stage. It was great to get into the woods for some respite from the warm sun but the steep climbs soon had you wishing for the warm flat fields again. I would love to compete in this race in Autumn/Winter when the mud and rain would really make the woods a great challenge. Will be taking part next year when the numbers will be at least double or possibly triple the 71 brave souls who turned up this year.

In full: Not as much mud as I thought there would be but great fun and very challenging. Marshalling could have been better in places. Good atmosphere, friendly and good quality t-shirt.

In short: A great first running of the event - a few tweaks and no doubt it'll be evenn better next year.
In full: Not as much mud or water as I'd expected (as would've liked), Marshalls and spectators were all great, friendly and made for a lovely atmosphere.

More tape and marshalls required, whilst there were plenty of signs etc, but once you've just leapt over a fence running at pace, you need to know where to go instantly, not be looking up for signs to figure out where to go.

More obstacles and less covering the same ground through the forest would improve the event in my opinion.

All in all a very good event, and a brilliant race T-shirt!!! (One that I won't be embarrassed to wear in public).

In short: hard as snails
In full: Didn't know what to expect but turned out pretty awesome. You run up and down hills, you jump over horse jumps, you crawl under nets and through mud pits, you dance through tyres and chase a horse. And it's great of course!

In short: Tough fun
In full: The course is really something, horse jumps are great fun (but get tricky after 9 miles!), fields, hills, woods, awesome! It's tough, not to be underestimated, but do-able. Very friendly, genuine organisers who give you advice, support and a pat on the back when you finish.
