In short: Muddy muddy trail race
In full: Glorious sunshine, wonderful countryside to run through but boy was it muddy underfoot. Lovely atmosphere and a race to add to your diary. Will do again.

In short: Fantastic Race
In full: Beautiful course, great organisation and free beer afterwards. Not one for a PB but who cares, a really good workout. First time but a definite for next year.

In short: fantastic 10k
In full: after last weeks disaster at the the devils 10k this was the perfect race to enter... signs to show where to park, funnels to start the race in the right pace order, course well sign posted and with km markers and with excellent marshalls, a great but fairly tough course thankfully mainly shaded from the sun on this hot day, and then to the finish! a lovely medal and bottle of beer and goody bag, had to dash off due to work straight after work and missed out on the spot prizes back at main hall with race numbers.
faultless race will done to the organisers, will be back again next year.

In short: It would be great even if it wasn't 2 miles from home!
In full: What a day - soaked to the skin and it wasn't rain! Sunbathing at the prize giving!

This is very much our local race, so we take the scenery for granted, but the organization was fantastic.

I was with a mixed group from our village and everyone had a good time - including the ladies running their first race (they had put the training in though!).

In full: Glorious sunshine (perhaps a little too much of it…? …it was 28C later in the day – it’s October!!) and a trail that takes you around fields and through glorious woodland.

It had been dry before the event so I guess that made a difference.. The course was genuinely stunning. And the organisation exemplary from the outset.

People to park you… a volunteer anywhere there could have been a decision on the course... Everybody friendly... A free bottle of beer at the end... Thirty spot prizes… Tea and cakes…

A real “community” putting on an event – fantastic job, Oxted Runners! Just how a race should be. So I will definitely be back.

Take note though – for a pounder of the streets around London, it did have ups (yikes!) and downs (fantastic!). The hills added about 3-4 minutes onto my typical 10k time, so no chance for a PB if you do a lot of running, but I still managed to come 9th… A definite return next year is on the cards!

In short: Hot, hilly but heaps of fun.
In full: Well organised by a small club. Plentiful marshalls, all of whom were very encouraging, lovely scenery, killer uphill drag in the first half but great downhills later... I'm coming back despite the grazed knees.

In short: Perfect race in every way
In full: What a great race organised by a relatively small club. Puts many other races to shame.
Marshalls were everywhere and very supportive.
Medal, bottle of beer and tea and cake back at race HQ.Glorious weather made it, might be a tad trickier if it was wet and muddy.
