In short: Good atmosphere, but not a course for PBs
In full: Mostly well organised, and a great atmosphere, but definitely a fun run rather than a race.

It was very strict in the programme about where you should be lining up based on expected finish time, but it seems most people didn't read the programme and there wasn't anything to really re-enforce the importance at the start. I was in the 25-30 minute wave and was passing walkers by 100 yards, and didn't get free of people going woefully slow and/or walking until the 2 mile mark. Very, very frustrating!

It was super crowded too but this would not have been so bad if the crowds had been going at any reasonable pace.

On the plus side, the goody bag was good albeit bizarre in places (cranberry *sauce*, Cif, lipstick - were we supposed to go home, put on some lippy, clean the kitchen and cook dinner?!) and the facilities (Adidas had a good footscan thing) were top notch. More of a day out than a race though!

In short: Great for my first race!! I will be back next year. Atmosphere is great!!
In full: As a first time runner this was a great introduction to runs. Really nice atmosphere. The only downside was being shoved/elbowed a couple of times by more agressive ladies even though I stayed on the slower side of the path - this happened when the course narrows. But that can be forgotten as the positive environment was lovely

In short: Better than last year
In full: I thoroughly enjoyed the race. We had to start at the end of the field due to train delays so had zigzag walkers! throughly enjoyed it. kids loved the kids challenge and meeting top athletes was the icing on the cake on a glorious sunny day!

In short: Perfect Day with Perfect Organisation
In full: Great Day . Plentiful loos ! Amazing organisation made for beginners. Very crowded start and for first 1K , crowding thinned out a bit after that but lots of darting in and out due to runners running 5 abreast.. but that`s OK for this sort of run . Not designed for PB. Super day out with girls and great picnic place for after as well . LOVED IT .

In short: GREAT ATMOSPHERE, GREAT GOODY BAG.
In full: I LOVE this event and persuaded 2 more of my friends to take part, they ENJOYED as much as me. Parts of the course was very congested and a lot of the walkers were spread across the road which made it incredibly hard for those that wanted to run. However l happily accepted that l wasn't going to get a great time and my friend and l slowly jogged and enjoyed the crowds lining the route feeling happy & smiling when we crossed the finish line.Everyone should do this event at least once. As for the goody bag it's getting better and better. What's not to like about this event?
See you next year xX

In short: No well defined race organisation whatsoever.
In full: So disappointing after last year. No effort was made to separate the walkers from the runners :( Batches of participants sent out in waves so even if you managed to run to the front of your group you still had the walkers from the group in front in your way. Mothers dragging stumbling children along, pushchairs, walkers taking up the whole width of the road. This was not a fun run certainly not worth the effort or the expense of a train journey. Overall very disappointing if you wanted to run. If you just want to stroll in a London park for over an hour then it might be OK

In short: A great first time race
In full: This was my first race ever after just 5 weeks training. Placed myself in the 30-35 zone and found it helpful that start was organised as so, even if some people were in the wrong place - but such a great atmosphere that as a first timer made the nerves subdue knowing that most there were for having fun and personal achievement. Overall thought the race was great and will definitely do it again next year, and will be better prepared for the ducking and diving to get some room.
