In short: Great race with good range of runners. Despite the organiser's advice do wear off road shoes for the mud and grassy slopes.

In short: Tough trail race on a glorious day
In full: Tough going for a first trail attempt - especially the stile and the hill at the end! And it was more than 10k cos you pass the 10k marker about 2 mins before the finish! Seemed to be well run by the Rotary, but I didnt see a water station and there were no t-shirts left at the end, which was disappointing. I said "never again" as I collapsed over the finish line but hey you never know!

In short: Superbly organised race with a sting in the tail
In full: Thanks to all at Penrith Rotary Club for doing an excellent job in staging this very enjoyable race.
It's not easy - there are some energy-sapping climbs along the route, particularly the one near the end, but the friendly atmosphere and the lovely setting make all the effort seem worthwhile.
A great little race, which I look forward to doing again next year.

In short: Look at those hills!
In full: As a local it was great to have an event close to home even though the hills were challenging to say the least. Hated that one near the end. Seemed to sap every ounce of energy out of me but I will be back next year!

In short: Tough but well worth it.
In full: This was a good race, tough but enjoyable. I will definitely be doing it next year. Credit to the organisers, for the first time it went really smoothly. Nice that all the money is going to charity as well.

In short: A good challenging multi terrain 10k.
In full: Really enjoyed this race, a mix of grass, track, and tarmac with plenty of good scenery to take your mind off the tougher sections of the course.A few tough uphill sections(in particulary the one near the finish)make a personal best unlikely.I'll be back next year for another go at this one.
