In short: Awesome scenary, great atmosphere & fab format. Well organised event that I'd recommend to anyone. In full: The route was great - really challenging ups with views that make all the effort really worth while. Brilliant atmosphere between the teams. Good shindig afterwards. Can't wait until next year! Well done Martin & Chums. Date of review: September 14, 2009

In short: Tough terrain rewarded with great views of the Mendips. In full: Thoroughly enjoyable event, great interaction and banter between teams.
And what an eclectic collection for the winners prize: bucket of sand & a scarecrow! Still the Goats Leap beer went down well.
Many thanks to Martin & team! Date of review: September 13, 2009

In short: Brilliant format: 6-leg relay over 29 miles sees the fortunes of teams ebb and flow; the fastest two teams were separated by just 500yds at the last hand-over point. In full: Great new event over the Mendips, with fanatastic scenery, good weather and a few hills. The 6-leg format means the lead and your team's position is likely to change frequently. Choosing runners to suit the different terrain on each leg is obviosly key to a quick overall time. Less competitive teams can have a great afternoon as well. The curry and pints at the race party never tasted so good. The starwberry cider was a revelation! Date of review: September 13, 2009
