In short: Brilliant Race - Lots of Satisfaction
In full: Brilliant atmosphere a small race that will just get bigger and bigger. Marshals were 'spot on' and very encouraging, organised to perfection, prize bag was packed. Course is grueling for the first 1.5 miles then gets easier but you are helped on your way by some of the best scenery staffordshire has. Water stop perfectly positioned half way. I have no chance of a personal best but nothings impossible. Will definately be doing it again next year.

In short: As good as last year
In full: This is a nice, friendly run on quiet roads. My knee didn't like the long downhill near the end so I had a bit in reserve to surprise a few people by sprinting up the short hill at the end!

In short: Brilliant small challenging race
In full: First time I've run this. Read good reviews from last years' race so decided this was one to do. I wasn't disappointed. It's a small but very well organised and challenging 7 miler along mostly quiet country lanes. Well done Mark, thoroughly enjoyed event. I was passed by more horses than cars which is quite a novelty!

In short: Great Autumn Race!
In full: Lots of up's, lots of down's and some great running amongst lovely scenary. Marshalls were brill, organisation was spot on (well done Mark!) and the encouragement from spectators through the route was excellent. Nice touch with the bag as a momento too rather than a medal!
A new PB too which I worked damn hard for so extremely rewarding. I'll do this race year after year for all of the reasons above.

In short: Tough but fair race, well organised.
In full: First time I have run this, and its the first race I have run without my Garmin or a fair idea of the course route. So got disorientated quite quickly around the country lanes, and was unwilling to push to hard in case there were bigger hills to follow.
In the middle of the race there is a lengthy descent which made me fear what was to come, but I got through it.
Last mile is great - all downhill except a 200m killer kick back up to the school.
At the time of review I don't know what my finishing time was, but this race definitely does not have PB potential, but was marshalled very well considering there were only circa 100 runners.

In short: Hilly hilly hilly
In full: I'm sure there were more ups than downs! Hard race but lovely quiet lanes through nice countryside. First time I have run more than a flat 10km. Despite being very slow the marshals and spectators were very encouraging.
