In short: Elvis has left the building... but he'll be back next year!
In full: Last leg of the ELVIS Tour (East London fiVe Interclub Series, though there's seven clubs now!) and a great race to finish on... Organisation was slick (race director does parkrun here on Saturdays) and the competition and atmosphere was chipper and exciting for the last series race. Excellent weather and a bargain at a fiver. See you all next year.

In short: A nice local race
In full: First 5k for wife & myself, cracked the 30 minute mark and had a nice run out. Medal & water at the finish; sandwiches, coffee & biscuits once we got our breath back. Everyone very friendly.

In short: A great day for the family - marvellous race!
In full: Loved this race. Had no idea Ilford could be that scenic. Parking literally next to the startline, how much more convenient can it get? Great marshalling, helping us around the course which has a few twisty bits. Course is pancake flat. Good mix of club/non-club runners. The park makes great entertaining for accompanying family members. Even my husband, who isn't that much into running said he may give this one a go next year. And the best thing of all: I won a cash prize for coming first in my age group.

In short: Great local race
In full: Very well-organised local race. Scenic course through Valentines Park. Flat, so PB promise, but lots of twists and turns. Overall, lovely little event.
