In short: Very poor value, low entry, no 'fun' - serious runners only....

In short: A great race - Very well organised - Good for spectators
In full: I ran in last years race too and the change in dates seemed to make a difference as the weather was ideal rather than the strong winds the year before. This is a great event and I'm really surprised by the reduction in runners this year. It's very well organised, easy parking, well marshalled, a good medal and selection of recovery drinks and gels to take away. The course is really great for spectators too as the runners cross similar points on the course and they can be seen as they run around the race track. Myself and two colleagues all ran PB's. We'll be back next year and can't recommend it enough!

In short: Ideal in the right ways
In full: I was not sure what to expect, but was very VERY impressed with the event. A considerable amount of organisation certianly seemed to have gone into preparing for it.

In short: Very interesting
In full: A very unusual course layout, with laps and out-and-back loops, going hither and yon. I'm surprised that it doesn't attract more runners, because it's very well organised, an interesting and potentially PB course. It was fun, if rather dispiriting, to be able to see the leader at various points, miles in front of the next person.

In short: Very pleasant, nice surroundings, not a fan of laps but knew that before!!
In full: A generally 'nice' race, and not overcrowded so a quick start was possible. Disappointed that the distance markers were so far out (7km was at 7.3km, 8km was at 8.4km, and 9km was closer to 9.5km) which was quite demotivating when trying for a pb. That said the race was fun and very friendly and the mobile-coffee van was WONDERFUL!!

In short: Good organisation, well marshalled and not too crowded :-)
In full: A good race - more undulating than I expected but good fun. Not too crowded which was nice as plenty of space. Good mix of abilities. Lots of marshalls. Nice to have water and recovery drink at end. Will probably be back next year.

In short: Well organised race, not too crowded
In full: Good to have a race on a Saturday so I could do a long run the next day. Undulating and breezy but still some potential to put in a reasonable time. I overdid it the day before and blew up after 4km.

In short: Nice run, cost too high for what it was
In full: Good points Well organised race in a nice location, queue for loos cleared quickly. Bad points - very steep entry fee for what it was. Cost will prevent me from doing this again.
