In short: Excellent race
In full: Nice flat course with stunning sea views. Strong chance of wind coming off the sea around the Marine Dr which can slow you down a little bit. Excellent support and would highly recommend.

In short: In good weather a scenic course that can be fairly quick.
In full: The race has potential for quite fast times although this year there was a strong breeze. Due to the nature of the course around two bays this was gusting and made the last 2K quite hard. Part of the race is over some cobbles which aren't very good for racing over. At the front the start was a little chaotic as couldn't hear announcements and it is noticeable that everyone even at the very front had slightly quicker chip times than gun times. On a nice day would be a good scenic race.

In short: Perfect end to the summer
In full: Signed up last minute & threw in a stay at posh Crown Spa Hotel. Scarborough is a gem and this race just added to that. Flat(ish) run from South Bay to North & back with some great support along the way. Sneak headwind which changed direction with me but nonetheless was a brilliant race. Just a few niggles like the queue at the end for the (fab) technical t-shirt and the announcements/warm up were hard to hear down below and we couldn't see what on earth the woman was doing behind the railings.
Nice round of applause for Scarborough's sadly departed legend Sir Jimmy Savile.
I will be beack next year. Well done organisers!
