In short: Good event with potential for fast times if the wind doesn't blow! Good support as sunny day. In full: If the weather was right this would be a fast 10K - only a few sharp turns but the cobbles slow you a bit. Sunny day this year so good support around the course and good views if that is what you want. Still a problem at the start if you are at the front as chip times are slower than gun even when on the front row. Date of review: November 6, 2013
In short: Well organised and nice flat run In full: Really well organised and nice large running group. The start includes sections for runners to know what their expected times are, so the runners can line up in their expected time slot.
The closed road and route make the run nice with a good route along the see front. Nice view along the whole journey.
Also good for spectators with lots of places fot them to be. Date of review: November 4, 2013
In short: Well done Yorkshire! In full: A really good event on so many fronts - organisation, location, sea views, pb potential (in the unlikely event the wind holds off) , good changing and safe baggage storage, easy parking and above all, the joys and pleasures of the Yorkshire seaside in early November. Had a good race, even enjoyed running into the wind! Date of review: November 4, 2013
In short: My first 10k and loved it In full: A fantastic 10k road race with possibly the best location in the UK, the glorious Yorkshire Coast in the wonderful town of Scarborough. Date of review: November 3, 2013
