In short: One of the best
In full: This was my 49th marathon and I would definitely put this in the top 5 that I've done. Flatest course you could imagine and a very scenic off-road route. There were about 300 competitors so the last half was a bit of a personal time trial, but for someone who wants a fast time and can organise for perfect weather as we had, this is the race to do.

In short: Great course, looped for family support, and PB!
In full: Was a late entry. concerned at leaving too late, arrived 10 mins before start. Small field compared to recent Silverstone 1/2. Nice atmosphere and lovely to see family 5 times inc start and finish, my inspiration for my PB of 4:19:18 20 mins off vlm 2011 time, well chuffed. would thoroughly recommend and will hopefully be back next year if no ballot spot for vlm'13.

In full: The Llanelli Waterside Half Marathon now has a real contender for the best run in Wales. Well done to the organisers and thank you to the helpers.

In short: Another well organised HBA event
In full: Nice fast course, excellent organisation and a small keen field.

Much rather share the course with dog walkers and cyclists than cars.

See you next year

In short: a PB marathon course, flat with good terrain.
In full: Good Points -
Well organised
Great Value with technical t-shirt, bag and trophy
Nice touches like the commentry which you get to hear 4 times.
Well marshalled
Smooth paths/road for the majority of the course.

Bad Points -

The time display was a bit low, it could of done with being put on a taller stand (you get how faultless this race is)

In short: Great alternative to big city marathons
In full: I really enjoyed the GWM, it's not a huge race but the start/finish was well organised and easy for parking. Route was nice and scenic along the coastal path and pretty flat.
My supporters said it was the best marathon for being a spectator out of the 6 I've done.
We were lucky with the weather, I bet it's not a good place to be when a storm blows in but we had blue skies and light wind, perfect.

Thanks very much for a great race.
