In short: I'll be back
In full: Another great Halloween run. Brilliant atmosphere, the drumming band were amazing, great turnout for such a miserable evening. Very slippy but added to the fun!

In short: Brilliant - as usual
In full: After Reading seeing a serious soaking I wasn't sure whether anyone would turn up - let alone in fancy dress. Pretty much everyone made the effort - brilliant. What a laugh - the course was really dodgy in places but as long as you were careful and put thoughts of a pb behind you it was hilarious. Had the usual "die hards" who would rather have a leg off than wear fancy dress, but they were pretty much ignored by the rest of us who were there for the laugh, the atmosphere, and the pumpkin soup!! I'll be there again next year - even more lit up and with even bigger fancy dress!

In short: Managed 2nd place, aiming for first next year
In full: My third running of a unique and very well run friendly event, once again a great atmosphere, free tea and pumpkin soup. Will be back every year they do this race.

In short: First time at this event and will be back next year!!
In full: What fun on a dark autumn night! Managed to find a few other mad fools including a race virgin (who swore he would never enter a race!) and we all entered for our first night run. Seeing everyone lined up in fancy dress (how my friend ran in a cardboard box I don't know) created a fantastic atmosphere. Everyone was friendly and in great spirits and out for fun. We laughed our way round the entire event and will be back next year. Having seen some pictures we may even have a few more in our small group!

In short: My third year. May there be many more, this is such fun
In full: What a lovely way to kick off those miserable days when the clocks go back. Brilliant organization, lots of splendid effects - the ghosts this year seem to have multiplied - a wonderful band of skeletons, some stunning costumes and fun, fun FUN.

In short: Once again - absolutely brilliant
In full: This is the 3rd time I've done this and each year see more and more fancy dress (there's always a few curmudgoens who dress normally but there always will be) Brilliant organisation, runs exactly to time and really well marked out with excellent marshalls pointing out the slippy bits. The drumming band are fantastic and the whole thing is really something to look forward to when the clocks go back and everybody's depressed. Slightly disconcerting to be chased by a man wielding a machete at 4k but I'm pretty sure (!!) he was part of the race - I hope so anyway. Sign me in for next year Cliff
