In short: Great fun
In full: Seeing over 7000 Santa's running through Liverpool is a sight to behold! I was fortunate enough to get one of the limited blue suits which made it even more memorable. Great fun & fab atmosphere as you would expect. The course takes you through the city centre and no real challenges. A few 'inclines' but nothing major. Goody bags and medals were nice - even got a box of porridge :-)
The after race 're-hydration' was great as every cafe & pub was full of Santa's, many of which we're still in full costume well into the evening. I even managed to talk a couple of Santa's we met in Matthew Street into doing the Liverpool 1/2 in March!!
My only critisism is around the car parking. There was a flyer in the race pack giving details of a carpark for 'Santa's' on the Strand, but you couldn't get there as the roads were closed off. We managed to find some where close by (and cheaper) so no real problem.
Looking forward to next year.

In short: 7000+ santas running through Liverpool city centre
In full: Fantastic event. Definately a highlight of the year and a great way to end a running year. Not sure how people can complain about the price. If you think its too much don't enter it! How can a santa suit, T-shirt, quality medal, 2(!) goodybags, a run through a major city, a great day and any money left going to charity not be worth 20 quid! anyway rant over, great day out and will definatly be doing it again.

In full: Careful not to get clamped (Don't forget to feed meter)I forgot, My son gave me the change but by the time we had got our Santa suits on and killed ourselves laughing we'd forgot to feed it into the meter and got clamped It ended up costing us over a Hundred pound to do a race for charity!! would not do it again because of that!!!!!!!!

In short: Amazing - highly recommended to ALL
In full: What can I say but fantastic. From the minute you get on the train (which is full of santas) to walking to the start, just a sea of red and of course the 500 Blue(EVERTON) santas - well this is Liverpool!!!

The sight of over 7000 santa's is breathtaking and the atmosphere is amazing. All abilites of runners, dressed up dogs and decorated buggies. I am yet to find anyone who didn't enjoy the experience.

The race organisation is excellent from registering and picking up your santa suit to free Merseytravel train journey to the course and then the finish.

YOU HAVE GOT TO EXPERIENCE THIS DAY - AMAZING

In short: Needs better organisation
In full: I signed up for this with my godsons to begin the countdown to Christmas. I missed the 5K because none of the stewards seemed able to point us in the direction of the santa suit collection point and the map enclosed with the race pack was useless. We found them just as the van was about to pull off otherwise there would have been 2 very unhappy kids. The race itself was great fun, good crowds and a great start to the festive season for the children. But for those of us from out of the area printing information in the Liverpool Echo is no use. Better information next time would be helpful but would definately run it again.
