In short: Cracking new race
In full: Fast PB course, very good organisation, you can tell it was organised by runners!
Mile marks in correct places, quick results and good prizes. A bit expensive to enter though, or am I a tight tw**!!
Look forward to it next year in the summer

In short: Excellent Race
In full: All in all a very well organised road race. Plenty of marshals on route and good sineage both on course and to the venue. A flat, fast course with great pb potential. Freindly organisers and excellent home made chicken soup. The t-shirt is brilliant and has a "Jack Daniels" look about it. The car park and the start being a distance away helped to get you warmed up on a cold December day. My only small moan was the cost of entry, it could have been £8 and £10 on the day. I appreciate that the prizes had to be funded, but this may put people off entering. I would still do it again, but need to get fitter now.

In short: A great introduction to the world of running.
In full: My first real race. Was perfect. A good distance and a perfect course. Was interesting to see all the runners spread out over the flat course. and the fast ones running off into the distance. It was well organised apart from the long walk to the start but it ment a great finish in the park. A friendly atmosphere and supportive marshals. The black race shirt is a very nice touch and the warm hall at the finish was so welcome. The prefect introduction to the world of running.

In short: Did what it said on the tin - fast and flat - knocked 3 mins of my pb on this course.
In full: Nice scenery, running conditions perfect and a reasonable turnout given this was the first time this race had been organised. plenty of parking off road, clear signage to race hq and start. chip timing would be beneficial for those without garmins etc or starting near the rear of the pack. all in all a nice sunday morning at a well organised race. well done to those involved and thanks to the ladies who were setting the refreshments up - really helped with my "pre-warm up" warm up carrying some of their heavier items in for them!!!!
