In short: Improves every year
In full: A great race. Very friendly and helpful organisers and a tough traffic free 5 miler. A flat course except in the run up to the bridges and a pleasant run along the river. The tough bit is seeing the course stretching out in front of you. Chocolate brownies/muffins were a nice and welcome touch at the finish.

In short: Don't tell anyone about this lovely little race
In full: In an undiscovered corner of the Lea Valley Park this race takes place largely on tow path and is flat apart from a couple of turns over bridges. A very small field, so don't tell anyone and it'll stay that way!

In short: Quick course, relaxed atmosphere
In full: Just round the corner from Tottenham Hale, this is a pleasant 5-miler on a very flat course. Personally, I find it hard to find races at this distance locally, so this is perfect for me! An enjoyable jog/ run for all abilities.

In short: Improves every year
In full: I've done this race for the last 3 years and it is gradually growing bigger, but is still friendly and welcoming. This year I ran it with my 17 year old son - doing his first competitive race. Having run at his pace and coaxed him round the five miles, what does the so-and-so do - run the last bit like a 100 metre sprinter leaving me trailing in his wake. Next time he's on his own.

In short: Good race..Well organised.
In full: Its a fairly low key affair with a clutch of good club runners taking part and a lot of less experienced runners. Good spread of abilites. Its a race that should suit everyone.
