In short: cold windy and lots of road
In full: too much road - would be worth making longer to avoid the very hard concrete tank track in the last third(not fun in trail shoes). even if it went up to 16 miles it would be worth it to run off road outside of the tank range (I believe there is a perimeter path). no major organisational problems a bit of fine tuning will sort it !

In short: Wow, a windy, tricky race
In full: This was described as arduous and in parts it really was. The wind came whipping over the plain something rotton in parts-but it was a good run!

In short: Not quite what I expected!
In full: A great chance to enter forbidden territory! (if you had the strength left to raise your head above the biting wind.)I thought it was a brilliant first effort. Well done to you all, but who kept burning the bacon butties?

In short: wild, hilly, easy on the feet
In full: Very enjoyable - a bit like being on the moors with barren open land stretching to the horizon. The mostly made-up tracks were easy to run on and I was surprised by the number of cars passing by.
Could the start be nearer to the registration hall?

In short: plain crazy
In full: Wild race ,it did what it said on the tin.Tough race should make the adjustment to half marathon and i reckon this would be a popular event.Just what you need to fill the Christmas gap.

In short: Killer wind & hill for last couple of miles
In full: Credit to the organisers for asking for constructive feedback. Problem with lack of cups at water station. Should have been advertised as a road shoe race. Lack of directions to HQ. Basic errors yes but sinple to correct for next time around. A good tough workout, especially towards the end. With a slight detour or extension of start/finish this would be a challenging half marathon

In short: Boring but mentally challenging
In full: You worked hard to make the race successful with good organisation. Wrong shoes, nearly lost the will to live in the wind!
