In short: 2nd year in a row delayed, poor organisation,£16.00 to stand around freezing rip off price on day,
In full: I was running this event with friends, gone eleven oclock there stuck in traffic still and I'm freezing waiting race still not started, every one I spoke to several people all not impressed very unhappy and cold, I never got to see my friends they had to start in Half marothon, worse event so far for organisation, very exspensive on day (£16.00) for such a poorly planned event, I did enjoy the coarse and friendly people

In short: Nice setting and course. Poorly planned parking access led to 30 min delay in getting going. No mile markers and no one knew when or where the start was. Need I say more?

In short: I was pleased to suffer for the cause but....
In full: The delay at the start due to late arrivals was self inflicted (2nd year running!) by the race organisers - caused by the traffic lights and failure to use both gates to the car park. Lack of mile markers was inexcusable. Who was supposed to be organising the start of the 1/2M -the Grand Old Duke of York? As we were 1/2 hour late, making a mockery of any pre race warm-up/toilet timing, I needed to either get on with it or go home. Hence the Do It Yourself "3, 2, 1, GO" start. Best advice to novices - give or raise the money as the cause is well worth it, but do the Robin Hood, as it is infinitely better organised and a much more satisfying event (easy to get to and park, less bleak, and more crowds).

In short: Very early in the season, therefore there was a good chance of bad weather and there was. Gripes: No mile markers, poor traffic control to the venue and therefore a late start to the race.

In short: Horrendous badly organised never ever agin
In full: Well what can i say that nobody else has!!Traffic a nightmare before you got into the car park, got warmed up then left standing around for over 20 mins, nobody appeared to know where the start of the half marathon was,no mile markers, weather (well freezing cold)possibly wouldn't of noticed if we'd had the chance to run when everyone was warmed up instead of having to wait around, goody bag was not worth the plastic it was in. Definatly not a run i shall ever do again unless organisers can attempt to organise better. Shall place my money in an envelope that comes round to the door next year.

In short: Parking Aceess problems again poor as last year, this was my third year taking part in this race, It has got steadily worse each year.
In full: If the organisers don't sort this out they will have less people wanting to take part thus less money in the pot for what is a very worthy cause. No mile markers! The course was the same as last year. Thirty minute delayed start freezing cold standing about waiting! Where was the start.
