In short: A testing first 10K with great variation & scenery
In full: A testing first 5K round the Great Orme followed by an equally testing downhill section. The last 1km along the prom made for a great run in to the finish line. The bone china mug (to all finishers) a great momento and is in daily use at work and the trophy for third over 45 (still can't quite believe that one) is a nice design & finish.

In short: Easly the best 10K I have ever done - a must do iconic race!
In full: Surely one of the most challenging and scenic 10K's on the race calendar. Excellent organisation and plenty of friendly support on the course. Very good facilities at the race HQ/by the finish. Love the mug souvenir

In short: Up one side of the Great Orne and down the other side
In full: Challenging climb the first half but all the way down the second half makes it worth it. Friendly run and good organisation with chip timimg texted to my phone within the hour. Scenery very nice (would have been a 5 if the weather was better) but good fun.

In short: Loved it. but did get a new PB
In full: this is fantastic. But i do love North Wales. Good hill to climb, then good hill to speed down. i had done the Conwy Half in 2011 so knew what to expect, but some how got a new PB on this run. I would say they need to do spilt starts. I was luckily enough to be at the front and just managed to squeeze through the small gap at te start that could have been 7 people wide then started the first two miles over taking people.

Despite that, this is a great run, and i left my friend on the start line who also took part as a newbie and she thought it was great. Tough but great. If you are use to running and like hills do it. If you don like hills, then do it for the challenge.

In short: Incredibly well organised race a credit to the organisers.
In full: Ive run a fair number of 10k races over the years but this one was special with lovely weather and a challenging but beautifull course.

Ive never seen so many marshalls for a 10k race before there was one vertually on every corner who all gave encouragement.

Music at the start and finish and an instant readout of my finishing time and position in the race made the organisation of this seaside 10k something to behold.

I will certainly return to do this race as it represented excellent value for money.
