In short: Another Great Shifnal 10k
In full: Yet again another great Shifnal 10k, on a cold but lovely morning. Excellent organisation, and really supportive Marshals. A really intresting route as well involving a couple of tricky hills, some off road and plesent Shropshire Tree Lined Roads. Relly Plesent.

Will be back next year

In short: Fantastic race in beautiful surroundings
In full: This is one of my favorite races ever! Nowhere near as challening as the Shifnal Half Marathon but hilly enough to make you feel you've earned the medal. The organisers are brilliant and the marshalls provide plenty of encouragement even while they must have been freezing their toes off. It's a beautiful course and I would highly recommend to anyone.

In short: Cracking little race
In full: Second time around for me, and I was still as fat and slow as last year.

The race, however, thankfully was not.

Beautiful Winter's morning that saw us run along quiet country lanes, and over frozen fields, and back again.

And awaiting us was a free coffee (very welcome), and a very tasty flapjack or two (Can I have the recipe please ?).

Will be back next year.

In short: My First 10km of 2010
In full: A solid, enjoyable race. Chilly conditions and hard ground made for a great challenege. A well organised race I'd happily recommend.

In short: Friendly with fantastic organisation. Cheeky course but a real feel good race!
In full: Having not raced in 10 years I was struck by the great organisation, the number of encouraging marshalls and a real professional feel to the race, considering it was such a small field. Fairly challenging route with a couple of hills and some undulating ground. But well worth the effort due to a lovely welcoming atmosphere and a nice medal too! One for the calendar next year. I'll be back!!
