In short: Well organised tough 10k In full: Excellently organised race with loads of marshalls to encourage you. The course is tough so don't expect to get a PB, but just enjoy the challenge. Had a chat with the race organiser who finished just behind me and passed on my praises to him BIG THANK YOU to all involved in this increasingly popular race.
(had to log on under another ID as I hit submit too soon under my usual name - hint in the "Musketeer" bit!!)
In short: Great atmosphere for local race In full: Lucky the weather was ok, as the field used for the car park was very rutted and on a hill!, as it was on the course, had to wait a little bit for the course to eropen to get out of the field, but otherwise great run Date of review: April 23, 2007
In short: Excellently organised race in very hilly countryside! In full: I was very impressed with the enthusiasm of everyone concerned in the organisation of this event. A real country fair atmosphere at the venue, even villagers on the course were joining in celebrations. The route is very challenging, and this was the first time a hill has forced me to walking pace (just for a few yards)! Only complaint was that the homemade cakes had sold out by the time I finished. Now there's an incentive to go faster next year..! Date of review: April 23, 2007
