In short: Friendly, hilly but downs as well as ups. Good value with excellent tech shirt.
In full: Yes, it's hilly (have you got that now?) but some fast downhills as well as slow uphills. I walked a bit up the hills - gives you time to take in the great scenery! Not traffic-free but the lanes are so quiet it's not really a problem at all. On it's regular Sunday it's probably even quieter. Good T shirt, excellent marshalls and water/sponges in the right places. Will be back next year.

In short: Very tough climbs but great views at the top!
In full: The climbs were really tough and semed to go on for ever. During the very long descent after the first major climb my only thought was "my God we are going to have to run back up this!" and of course we did. Scenery at the top was stunning though in both directions and the weather was kind

In short: Well organised event - well worth a go
In full: As this race is an unusual distance I guess there are not many other races to compare with for a PB, so to do it as a hill challenge was my goal. It certainly lived up to that, but with excellent views, good organisation and a very good Tech T shirt it is an event well worth adding into your diary. I will be back.

In short: Tough but enjoyable
In full: My first 15k race. I blithely signed up before looking at the comments or the elevation, and then wished I hadn't! On the day though, everyone was friendly and encouraging, and the organisation was superb - the sponge station at the top of the first long hill was a very welcome surprise. Yes, it's hilly, but the sense of satisfaction when you reach the top and are treated to the incredible views across the Cheshire plain and Jodrell Bank is absolutely worth it!

In short: not one for the hill-haters but I loved it!
In full: 1st time at this race, found the big climb tough as I knew I would but still loved it. And was going like a train on that fantastic big downhill finish! Love the top too, much better than most of the ones I've acquired at races. Well recommended event.

In short: How long does that hill go on for?!
In full: Such a long steep climb from just over 1k into the race but the views from the top are spectacular. Then its down down, up up, and back down the hill for the best part of 2k I think? One of the most tough but beautiful races you can do. Loads of parking and the 15 minute walk to the start is a good warm up. Great organisation, lots of water and sponge stops in just the right places. Well done to all involved.

In short: A challenging but very picturesque course with many hills. Excellent organisation and support from marshals. A technical t shirt for finishing - which was good.

In short: Great race! Tough hills but last 2km downhill is great!!
In full: Great, well organised race. My first time doing it but will be back again next year. I Managed to run full 15km but alot of people do walk up those hills as they are tough in places. Fab views, great atmosphere and a great challenge.

In short: A well organised race run over a challenging course. Great atmosphere, particularly at the finish. Thanks to the marshalls and people manning the drinks / sponge stations.
