In short: Great location, well organised race!
In full: I was really impressed with the organisers of this event far better than the Run to the Beat H/M I'd done a few weeks earlier!! Lots of toilets, motivating music playing at the start, water/capri sun/banana at the end of the race, medals handed out to you and they even took of your chips on your trainers!...something I struggled to do after the H/M!!! Only down side was (my fault) an injury which occured at the 7k mark!! :-( Had to drag myself across the finishing line, which incurred a 20sec addition to my PB!! :-( boooo!!! Great parking too by the way, an all round fab event. ohh!! apparently I missed out on a goodie bag too!! :-( but great they were giving those out! WELL DONE to the organisers of this event!!

In short: not a bad course..just a bit slow along the river with limited passing places
In full: greta morning for it...nice and crisp and sunny skies. this was a nice enough course but i did find the first 4-5k a bit boring as it seemed to be just one long straight road. ok going along the river but the path was a bit narrow in places which meant having to run at the persons infront pace rather than my own...think i could have taken at least a minute maybe 2 off my time if i could have overtaken in certain places.and the last few k's reminded me of the reading half marathon with the out and back bit at the end...always find that a bit soul destroying. all in all though nicely organised and a nice medal to finish with.

In short: Very well organised
In full: A very well organised race with loads of happy and encouraging marshalls. As other people have said; plenty of loos - how it should be - other race organisers take note.
Loads of people at the finish line to hand out medals, bananas, chocolate, capris sun and water. My only gripe is that a marshall sent me to the high street to park when there was plenty of room in the car park opposite. Would definately do it again. Well done all involved.

In short: Really good organisation - the fabulous weather helped!
In full: Well organised, no long queues for the chips, plenty of loos at the start/finish, loads of very helpful marshalls about, good overseen luggage storage area, nice atmosphere, and gorgeous autumn weather with not a breath of wind!

In short: Very well organised, excellent race.
In full: This was an excellent race, very well organised. No queues for the loos. A flat fast course. My first mile was far too fast. Managed to keep going and beat my PB by a minute. Would recommend this race to everyone, from the beginner like myself to the 'in it to win it' runner! Plenty of goodies at the end as well.

In short: Excellent end to the year
In full: Advertised as flat and fast - they weren't wrong. Good organisation, plenty of loos, glorious run by the river and loved every minute of it (possibly cos I took 1:31 off my pb to get a 49:06 - who could complain?!!) Comprehensive available as we finished, very impressed all round.

In short: very fast flat race
In full: this is a flat race that is perfect for anybody.
half of it is run by the river, even though it could get very narrow if there are lots of people. very good goodies at the end and an early start make it perfect.
would do this again
