In short: Friendly race but a bit dull
In full: Pleasant-ish run but I was baffled by the km markers or lack of them - I only saw 1, 4, 6 and 8, and they weren't in the right places. They referred to the Varsity 10k and I thought they were being reused but now it appears, as that race had a slightly different route, they had just been left up! Very confusing.

In short: Nice mix of inclines and track!
In full: Ran this event twice and broken my PB twice! My favourite 10k event.

In full: Was told this wasnt a good 10k...hmmmm wrong enjoyed every min of it all 45!!

In short: Very dubious course measurement! Longer than 10k!
In full: Exact same race, which was chip timed, (Sheffield Varsity 10k), about 4 weeks ago, did not do a lap of the track at the beginning & finished much shorter on the track at the end. This race today was also definately longer than in previous years, (at least 400 - 600m!

In short: Gets my vote every time!
In full: Always enjoy this race. The course is perfect for PBs and spectators and with the other athletics events going on made it a better day out. Loved the designer green t-shirt...featuring the running track! some thought had gone into that. My favourite race t-shirt from my favourite race! Organisation fine & even the weather remained rain-free for the most part. Will always return here. Well done everyone.

In full: timing poor i used stop watch giving me time of 46.15 clock at finish 46.28 allowing for mid place start time on results 46.49 big diff? mile markers a bit hit and miss did enjoy day but could be a little more organised
