In short: Hills, Hills, Hills
In full: A good Marathon for training.
Steep and long hills in equal measure 3 times!
Toilets on course a good idea,
Changing needs sorting for next year!
No goody bag, not quite sure where the £30 all goes, glad I never challenged the prizes, what's wrong with a bottle of wine and an envelope with some cash?

In short: Gotta love those hills!
In full: My first time at this event. The 'undulating' tag is accurate - the shorter hill followed by the much longer relentless hill certainly do take it out of the legs. I was really pleased with my placing (10th) even though I was 2 minutes off my pb target. Rather humbling to read the Ultra results - the winners finished half an hour after me having done an entire extra lap! An enjoyable morning out with a lovely low key, but really well organised, feel to it.

I'm already thinking of having another go at this one next year to see if I can improve my time.

In short: A decent but slightly challenging course
In full: Completed this and have to say it was fairly enjoyable.

Came home in just under 4 hours which was pleasing. This course is fairly challenging one tough hill with a few other much smaller ones. However this race is only limited to 200 runners and so a lot of time on your own which obviously involves added determination to get round.

Easy registration, well marshalled course with well manned drink stations. One thing you always get with beyond the limitations organised events is well stocked drinks stations.

Course was fairly picturesque but have done nicer ones however can't complain!

Strange band policy so that they know whether you have completed a lap - not too sure why they can't do chip timing? Perhaps it's too expensive?

Personal Best's are achievable but think you have to have trained properly.

Good small race. Would recommend.

In full: I suppose this race was not the best for a PB but I got mine here. Broke 4hrs for the first time. Nice race - not that many runners and therefor parking not an issue. Most of the runners seem to be South African but then they are a tough bunch! Ran the last lap virtually alone - except got passed by 3 blokes running the ultra. May run it next year.

In short: A very scenic 3 lap course with one big hill per lap. The marshalls were very supportive throughout. The course is definately challenging. I plan to be back next year, after I've done more hill training !!!

In short: Not sure how the organisers could justify the steep entry fee
In full: Many thanks to the marshall based at the Cotswold farm park entrance - very encouraging. Sadly the same could not be said of some of the others.
Some jelly babies would have been hugely appreciated at the water stations, and maybe a banana at the finish?
The weather was glorious, and quite warm at the end, so personally I feel that another water station would've been useful on route.

In short: A very pleasant "no frills" race
In full: I quite enjoyed this, it's 3 laps with one big hill on each circuit. The scenery was lovely as was the weather.
As a race it does all the basics very well. A bit steep at £27.
