In short: a great ultra race event
In full: a big thank you to patrick and marshalls. great organisation, goodie bag, free showers and camping and a trophy instead of a medal which was a nice touch.
a tough course to begin with then it gets easier. very scenic and well marked out.
ran this as a my first solo event. managed 6 laps but had to pull out due to knee problems.

In short: A brilliantly organised, friendly intro to ultra running (if you so choose). A shorter version of the Thuder Run with a tougher course, and smaller more intimate atmosphere. Fantastic event.

In short: A great way to spend 12 hours
In full: The race started at 6am and had 2.5km straight uphill!!! Coming over the finishing line Patrick (the organiser)was checking whether the marshalls/markers were all ok, this was a really good touch.

As the day progressed the sun came out which made for amazing views. The catering/massage was very good as was the support of other competitors.

And as a final touch of support from Patrick he was stood on the finish line congratulating competitors as they crossed the line.

Definately one to do again next year, thanks to all involved in organising/supporting/competing.

Well done to all

In short: What an event !
In full: Amazing location, scenery, course and organisation. We were looked after all day, superb facilities, catering, massages, showers & toilets all brilliant especially considering the amount of mud around. Goody bags (3 in total!) stuffed with goodies. Course in 10km loops, muddy with some nasty hills, but saw sun rise and set over Eastnor castle and had a great day running in the middle. Well worth a try, solo, pairs or as a team. Everyone organising the race were superb but special mention has to go to Patrick and his wife who spent the day talking to the runners making sure everything was OK. Thanks for a great race.

In short: What a day glorious scenery smooth operation sunshine everyone should try it
In full: How ofetn are you greeted by the race organiser at the end of the race and thanked for taking part, my first foray into a distance longer than a marathon and loved every minute of it, the organisation went like clockwork and the value for money is very good, 12 hours of support, t-shirt, camping and momento with goodie bags all for 40pounds
