In short: Well organised off road event
In full: Hilly & mainly over bridleways, not a great combo for a PB, but a nice run in the countryside. Finish was organised well, a nice swell of spectators to cheer you on. Only downside being the toilets were across from the main area so you had to cross the path of finishing runners.
Medal was nice, good for events to be unique instead of opting for an off the shelf running model.
A bit packed at the start, perhaps more spacing between timing pens was required given the number involved.
Good event though, will seek to conquer those hills next year!

In short: Good morning run
In full: A well organised event mostly on grass footpaths. The 3 hills were noticed. A good morning with over 100 runners we would definatly do it again.

In short: Well-organised off-road race at the price of a fair few tough climbs
In full: The route takes you through a country park and is entirely off-road, so nothing like what you might expect for a run through a town full of new-builds. Race organisation is impeccable: chip timing, lots of loos and stands, staggered starts, etc. It's a big race (about 1000 runners) but doesn't feel too crowded after the first couple of KMs. The big quid pro quo is that the route is very hilly indeed, surprisingly so for a Fenland run (where do they find these hills?!). This adds an extra dimension to the race but might hit your PB dreams.

In short: Great well organised off road race. Mildly undulating (for Cambridge!)

In short: Challenging but interesting 10k race
In full: I ran this event for the first time this year. Before the race I was very impressed with the level of organisation and planning that had gone into it. The parking was straight forward, good facilities and enough toilets meaning no queues. Immediately before the start I had some trepidation as I discovered the course was hilly (for Cambridgeshire) on a gravel/grass surface rather than the usual tarmac I tend to run on. Being quite hill-averse when it comes to running I thought that I would not enjoy the course. I was wrong however, although hilly/undulating the course is interesting and presents a real challenge. I really enjoyed it and would envisage runners of all abilities to get something from it. All in all, a great course really well organised and an event I'd recommend to anyone.

In short: Great alternative to the usual road runs
In full: Excellent organisation, lovely scenery. Bit cramped on the track to start with and you have to look down to see where your feet are going. Lovely marshalls, good for new runners and slower ones; no need to feel intimidated. Several stalls and lots of open ground for the rest of the family to cycle, walk the dog, come and watch etc.

In short: C&C have got the organisation well wrapped up. Really great atmosphere for all levels of runner and a nice medal and goody bag to finish. The course is all off road which could make a PB challenging but better for your knees and keeps it interesting.

In short: Very well-organised, lots of supporters, really fun!
In full: I really enjoyed this race- the organisation was superb, from the car parking to the results, which are already on the website only a few hours later. Hillier than I was expecting and quite a windy day so I found it tough in places but still enjoyable. A really good medal too! Thanks to all involved.

In full: My first time at the Cambourne 10k - not dissapointed! Excellent organisation from start to finish, great course/support, and very good momento/goody bag at the end. Recommend for all from beginner to vetran.
