In short: Good atmosphere, nice T-shirt & stadium finish
In full: A busy 10K set off in 2 waves to reduce the crowding at the twisty points.
Quite a crowd on the course cheering along, but poor water stations.
All made better by the stadium finish.
Nice technical T-Shirt, with a DIY goody bag to collect on your walk out of the stadium.

In short: Fast flat and atmospheric race
In full: A large well-established 10k with nearly 3,500 finishers.

Great support along the route with thousands of locals supporting the runners. I liked the fact that there are 2 waves starting 3 minutes apart which clearly helps avoid congestion.

The stadium finish is great especially where one stand is full of spectators, friends and relatives cheering you through to the finish line.

Nice technical t-shirt and plenty of food and freebies to take at the end.

Looking forward to next year!

In short: Great stadium finish
In full: A big event for a local charity. Great pen start, let the elites go away well.
City centre route very stop start, lots of tight turns, windy, and a few fly overs to negociate but still PB'able.
great last few km on the cycle route and stadium finish, great support.

In short: its all about the stadium finish!
In full: fine organisation as ever. pretty nippy course if you dont get stuck in some of the twisty bottlenecks. good crowd around the start/finish and excellent noise in the stadium at the end.

In full: This was my 3rd time of doing this race and although the scenery isn't brilliant I do like the twists and turns of running around the streets in the city centre.
It's a great race for a PB and definitely a beginner friendly race.
I finished in 40.07 and like the person said before - damn those 7 seconds - but all in all a great day.

In short: Great support in the stadium and spectators en route.
In full: Only minuses would be poor water stations and no goody bag - only a T-Shirt

In short: Not a bad trot - not spectacular
In full: Whilst I was half asleep at the start, this did turn into a pretty good race, and I beat my 10k PB by over a minute.

Plenty of people turned up for this race, and I was amused by the route through the centre - some puzzled looking old folk sat on benches watching the runners pass through. I think the fact it started at 9:30 meant the crowds were never going to be substantial. This I don't get - why not start a 10k race at 11am?

It was good to see a really mixed crowd though - plenty of the young, middle, and old. Seemed like a great family occasion.

The finish inside the statium was excellent though - plenty of people cheering the runners in. Didn't see Fabrizio Ravanelli anywhere, but you can't have everything.

Not sure if I would do this one again, as I like collecting shiny things and the 10k runners got a T-shirt, no medals. Not even some free chocolate or sweets at the end actually. The T-shirt is quite nice actually. But only worthy of the word nice.

In short: Decent race, apart form the website
In full: Good race, but let down by its website. Would like to know my time but the website fails to load (as it did last year). Sunday evening and still waiting for the results to be published, despite it saying results will be online "very soon"
