In short: Great little race on flat former airfield
In full: A beautifully organised race, with great support from the Fire Service College guys. Interesting scenery with all the old planes, trains, etc. With a few more runners, could be classic. And I ran a pb!

In short: Great race for a great cause
In full: It's very odd running a road race that isn't on the roads, but this was definitely worth turning up for.

In short: Flat & Fast round an unusal setting at the Fire Service College.
In full: A well organised and friendly race, great for first timers or PB hunters, run around the Fire Service College training ground so plenty of unusual buildings, cars, planes etc to look out for plus the chance to run down a motorway! Excellent marshalling and facilities, good support and plenty of tea & cake available!
Could have done with some Km markers though.
Would definitely do again if held next year and all done for a worthy casuse as well.
Thanks to Help for Heroes, Fire Service College and Bourton Road Runners.

In short: A great run around mashed up cars and burnt out buildings!
In full: This was a nice, flat, speedy race in some of the most unusual settings. All around the course are various burnt out buildings, mashed up cars, overturned lorries and rusting aeroplanes! As the race is located at the Fire Service college where trainees tackle fires and practice rescuing people from all of the above. As a result the race was'nt boring as there was always something to look at. Slight complaint however was that wern't enough mile markers.
