In short: 2011: fab race despite the weather!
In full: I travelled to Glasgow from Hampshire to do this race and really enjoyed it. It's a great event for beginners and more experienced runners alike and as so much of it is a gentle downhill or flat (yes there is a hill in Pollok Country Park but it's over quickly) it's a great course for a PB, which I achieved. I'd recommend it.

In short: First 10k for me and it was magnificent, the atmosphere was brilliant! Thoroughly enjoyable with a nice section through the park

In short: Brilliant atmosphere and organisation
In full: 5th year of running this race - am always impressed by the slick organisation. However - pulse starts are a great idea as long as everyone adheres to them and I got more than a little fed up of having to run round people walking in the middle of the course. That aside, the atmosphere is always fantastic before, during and after the race!

In short: Too congested for me thanks!
In full: Maybe just me, but felt that the route was far too narrow for the amount of people running. Good race for beginners but I would rather run smaller races where I get space to get into a rhythm.

In full: Third year in a row. Love it! Great atmosphere. The hill in Pollok Park never gets any easier. Very well organised.

In short: One race fits all - beginners and speedmeisters alike
In full: Extremely slick organisation - got train through, free bus organised from George Square and bus back too - all went like clockwork. Race is women only so you get good placing for perhaps less impressive times. Course nice - through leafy suburbs then plenty parkland too.
